With 60 players in 20 teams and several characters to chose from, the mobile edition has the same concept as the PC/console version. However, the game won’t offer cross-play with the console or PC versions. In 2021, Apex Legends surpassed 100 Million users, which is a big milestone.
With revenues of nearly $12 billion in the previous two years, the mobile shooter category is an exponentially increasing business. With such a massive market, no big company wants to be left adrift. EA will be looking for the same success with the mobile game as its PC counterpart.
