Realme 9 Pro 5G Software Update: Latest May 2022 security patch released

Recently, Realme launched two new smartphones under the number series Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+. Realme 9 Pro is equipped with an IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The performance of the smartphone will be responsible for the Snapdragon 695 5G processor. The device comes with a triple camera with a 64MP main sensor and a 5000mAh battery with support for a 33W power supply. 

Realme 9 Pro 5G comes preloaded with Realme 3.0 firmware based on Android 12. And the company officially confirmed it will give 3 major Android OS updates and 4 years of security maintenance for Realme GT 2 series. But there is no confirmation about other devices.

Realme 9 Pro finally receiving the May 2022 security patch in India, the changlog mentioned only security patch and system optimizes as well as fixes.

The update can identify by build number RMX3471_11_A.38 on Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. This is a phased roll out and will be available to all the users very soon. Kindly be patient and wait for the update on your device.

April 29th

Realme is rolling out another update for Realme 9 Pro 5G, the update comes with new build RMX3471_11_A.35 with 139MB update size, which fixes bugs. This update fixes bugs that were in C.34.

April 20th

Realme is now sending a new software update for Realme 9 Pro 5G smartphone users. The update integrates the April 2022 Android security patch, optimises the blur problem of the rear camera, improves system performance, and stability.

The latest update carries build number RMX3471_11_A.34 and currently seeding in India.

Realme 9 Pro 5G now started receiving the Android March 2022 security patch update in India. the update optimizes the blur problem of the rear camera, improves system performance, and fixes some known issues to improve system stability.

The update comes on Realme UI 3.0 with build number RMX3471_11_A.33. This is a phased rollout and will be available to all the users very soon. Kindly be patient and wait for the update on your device.

Previous Update – March 2nd

Realme has started pushing the first software update for Realme 9 Pro smartphone in India. The update improves the security of the device to February 2022 and also improves some camera tweaks.

The update improves rear camera features including quality of photos, video stabilization performance, Adjusted styles, and it improves the quality of photos taken by the front camera and fixes the WhatsApp video call issue. It brings February 2022 security patch along with fixing some known issues and improving system stability. The firmware comes in RMX3471_11_A.30.
