WhatsApp Web now allows users to send messages without connecting to the phone’s network

WhatsApp has been bringing a lot of new features in its smartphone application for a long time but recently, the social media giant has also worked a lot on its Web format. WhatsApp Web now allows its beta testers/users to send messages without connecting their phone to a network.

It means that now users can send messages from their desktop or from any other devices even when they don’t have any network on their original device where WhatsApp is primarily installed. This article shares more details about this new feature as WhatsApp Web also revealed some more features with their beta testers.

WhatsApp Web solves several problems rooted with the smartphone network connectivity and can even make calls directly

As previously stated, WhatsApp now allows its users to send messages without connecting to the smartphone network but it now also enables users to use WhatsApp on up to four devices at the same time.

This will definitely increase the productivity and efficiency of the users as they don’t have to keep an eye on their primary device having a network connection all the time to stay connected on WhatsApp Web. When users log in to WhatsApp Web, a menu appears that shows ‘Downloading Messages’. It means that if a user has logged on to the Web version of WhatsApp already, they do not need their phone’s connectivity and WhatsApp is automatically downloading the messages from their phones so that the users can have unhindered messaging without worrying about connectivity.

Other than this feature, WhatsApp Web now also allows its users to make WhatsApp calls directly from their desktops. All they have to do is to download the WhatsApp application for Windows from their official website. Making calls on WhatsApp Web or on the desktop was a major issue and after feedback, the company finally resolved it.

These are signs that WhatsApp is finally working on greater goals that will again help to improve and enhance user experience. Hopefully, they will be bringing more helpful updates in the upcoming future.
