The Dimensity 8100 and 8000 chipsets were announced by MediaTek on 1 March. Soon after the new chipsets were announced, OnePlus, Redmi, and Realme revealed that they would release an Android smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100.
However, users are quite excited to know more about the new sets of devices that will be bearing these brand-new MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipsets. While promoting the chipsets, MediaTek claimed that the new Dimensity 8100 can be at par and to some extent can even exceed the performance level of Snapdragon 888 processors.

Devices that will feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipsets
The business announced on Weibo (through Mukul Sharma) that its upcoming smartphones would be powered by the Dimensity 8100. The Dimensity 8100 chipset will be launched in Redmi’s next K50 Pro, Realme’s GT3 Neo (which will also enable 150W fast charging), and an unannounced OnePlus smartphone.
Though neither company has revealed a debut date for the new gadget, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi says “see you this month,” implying that the K50 Pro would be unveiled during a press conference in March.
MediaTek is promoting its Dimensity 8100 chipset by claiming that it would outperform Qualcomm’s flagship chipsets, such as the Snapdragon 888 and 870. For those who are unfamiliar, the Dimensity 8100 is equipped with four ARM Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.85GHz apiece, as well as four ARM Cortex A55 cores. Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, 4MB L3 cache, Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, AV1 decoding, and other features round out the Dimensity 8100.
