It was only a matter of time before Android 12 arrived on OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro even outside of Global and China. Now OxygenOS 12-based on Android 12, is available in the US on the T-Mobile network.
The OxygenOS 12 does not upset the operating system, which therefore remains similar in design to the previous version of customization: the main innovations concern the Shelf screen also accessible from the notification panel, the arrival of the Work-Life Balance function, and little else.

Anyway, the update should be available within a few days and will be downloadable from the smartphone settings. At the moment, it is not possible to download the zip file to install manually – this too will arrive in the next few days.
T-Mobile has yet to confirm that it’s now rolling out Android 12 to the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, but if you own either of the phones, we recommend manually checking for it by going to Settings> System> Updates> Check for updates.
