Samsung announces Multi Control as their Universal Control

South Korean tech giant Samsung announced their new universal control feature named as Multi Control. Samsung was Inspired by Apple’s Universal Control functionality used in Mac OS Monterey and iPadOS 15 that connects both Mac and iPad in a wireless way and lets you use the mice and keyboard. Samsung decided to come up with their own system to do the same, to connects their tablets and PCs.

The Multi Control is compatible with Galaxy Tab S7, S7 +, S7 FE, S8, S8 + and S8 Ultra tablets where they have to be updated to One UI 4.1. And on the other hand, your PC need to be the version 1.5 of Samsung Settings for Intel CPUs or version 3.3 of the ARM CPU app.

Samsung officially published a video online to announce and explain their latest feature – the Multi Control. According to the video you will have to bring your Galaxy tablet to your computer and a notification will inform you whether it is possible to use Multi Control or not. If it is approved, you will be able to use your mouse and keyboard from the computer to control your tablet and you will be able to transfer files as well.
