OnePlus has already released the Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 closed beta for Nord 2 5G smartphones and will soon get Open Beta. After the completion of the open beta cycle, it will get stable updates which will be rolled out gradually.
However, OnePlus will continue to update Android 11 stable users with the latest security patch during this period.
OnePlus Nord 2 OTA Update
OnePlus has started rolling out a new software update for OnePlus Nord 2 5G users. The new update is rolled out to Indian units. It comes on firmware number DN2101_11_A.20 for Indian variants, which adds April 2022 security patch update in India while the global and European users soon get the update.
The update fixes the occasional issue of abnormal screen display when using Facebook video call, and system optimisations. The update size 230MB only.

The update is rolling out via OTA it might take some time for the update to reach all units. To check if it’s available for your device yet, head to Settings > System > System Update.
