Realme GT 2 Pro Update: Fixed overheating in BGMI, Fingerprint, Camera, April 2022 security patch

Realme has released its first 2022’s flagship Realme GT 2 Pro in the market, and the device first landed in China, India, and global market. The device is powered by Snapdragon 8th Gen 1 and with a 50MP camera, and Android 12 out of the box on Realme UI 3.0.

Realme is rolling out a new software update for Realme GT 2 Pro, the update carries Android April 2022 security patch. It improves the overheating issue of BGMI, It improves rear camera features, Fingerprint, and system related issue.

Realme GT 2 Pro company’s first flagship of 2022, now getting a new firmware in India, with important fixes and improvements – The latest update reduces the refresh rate for Always-On Display to 1Hz, game assistant now Slides out more smoothly from the edge of the screen, animations on the Home screen and Recent screen become smoother as you swipe.

It improves the Success rate of fingerprint unlock, network stability, fixes display issue with the wallpaper, and phone restart problem. It also integrates the March 2022 Android security patch.

The update come on Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 and can identify RMX3301_11_A.13 in India. And will soon expand global users.

What’s New

Realme hasn’t mentioned the size of these updates, however, it is recommended to update your smartphones using a strong Wi-Fi connection and while the device is charging. To manually check for the update, head to Settings > System > System updates.

As mentioned earlier, Realme will roll out the update in a phased manner. A handful of smartphones will get the update first and the rest of the smartphones will receive the update in the next few days.
