Android 13 Beta Officially Available For These Smartphones – Download

On May 11th, Google released the first Android 13 Beta as part of the Developer Preview Program which is now available for OnePlus, Realme, Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo, Nokia and other smartphones. From the start, Android 13 was centered on privacy and security and developer productivity in its new OS update. Now, Google released its developer’s program for other smartphone users to try the Android 13 features, test the apps, and give them feedback.

The Android 13 Beta is meant to allow developers to adapt their apps to the new Android version. The feedback provided by developers on Android 13’ (DP) 1 will be beneficial to Google and smartphone companies to identify and fix issues and make the program better for future updates. After you have conducted your testing, you will need to revert to the previous UI to keep receiving software updates. If you have no experience in flashing custom ROMs, we do not advise you to download it, as it’s still in the early stages of development. Only experts and developers recommend enrolling for it.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is eligible for Android 13 Developer Preview Program. Similarly, Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi Pad 5, Realme GT 2 Pro, Oppo FIND X5 Pro, OPPO Find N, Vivo X80 Pro, Nokia X20 are entitled to get the notification. Only the Flagship smartphones are included in the list.

Back up your data before loading the Android 13 Beta and also backup rolling from Android 13 to Android 12. Companies have advice to keep at least 30% of battery level.

Note that each partner will handle their own enrollments and support, and provide the Beta updates to you directly.

  • The Android 13 Beta is meant to allow developers to adapt their apps to the new Android version. 
  • The Android 13 Beta is still in the early stages of development, and might not represent a stable enough user experience. Unless you are a developer, we do not recommend flashing this ROM, especially if you have little to no experience in software development or flashing custom ROMs. Proceed at your own risk.
  • Some applications may not work properly. This includes Google apps as well as third-party ones.
  • The firmware may not come with all stock Android’s built-in features.

Known Issues:

1. All user data will be erased during the upgrade.

2. Some system functions are not available.

3. Part of the interface display may look less than desirable.

4. Some applications may not work properly or be fully functional.

5. The system may have some stability issues.
