The first day of Google I/O 2022 also unveiled its new medium-range Android smartphone of the A series. Google Pixel 6a is a natural successor to the Pixel 5a 5G, unveiled last August by the Mountain View giant and never officially arrived in India, acting as a weapon towards conquering the mid-range market.
The smartphone joins the older brothers Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6, differing slightly from both for some technical characteristics, revised downwards, but fully taking up the aesthetic philosophy launched by Google with the first two smartphones of the new course.

The Google Pixel 6a is available in three colors Sage Green, Light Grey and Anthracite Grey and in a single 6+128 GB memory configuration offered for $449 which roughly translates to Rs 34,800 and it will be available for pre-order in starting July 21 and in stores from July 28.

The phone will initially be available in Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Italy, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Taiwan, Spain, United Kingdom, and the United States. Google has confirmed that the Pixel 6a is coming to India later this year. Price in India is yet to be announced.
