Oppo Reno 8 is launching in China on May 23 and adding some new additions to its Reno series. The smartphone is listed online in official store. The company has confirmed the launch date, and Reno 8 will definitely debut in May, and It is also rumoured to launch in India in June, but there is no official announcement by OPPO on the matter.
The series is expected to comprise the regular Oppo Reno 8, the Reno 8 Pro, and the Reno 8 Pro+. The Reno 8 Lite is also expected to be a part of the series, but it may be limited to some specific markets at first (Europe).
According to the new leak by @digital chat station, the core configuration of the Reno8 series is expected to come with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and Reno8 is scheduled to be the first domestic launch of the MediaTek Density 00. The Reno8 Pro+, on the other hand, will be equipped with Dimensity 8100-Max. The models with Snapdragon 7 Gen1 will also be accustomed to this NPU chip.
OPPO RENO8 (expected)
According to rumours, the Reno 8 will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. The phone will support a 6.62-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will come in choices like 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The phone may weigh 179 grams and be about 7.67mm thick. The battery is a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
OPPO RENO8 PRO (expected)
The Reno 8 Pro will come with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. The device comes with a 6.62 inch AMOLED display, including Full HD+ resolution 1080p and 120 Hz refresh rate. There is a Centred single hole straight screen in the upper left corner, pixel drill-like arrangement.
OPPO Reno8 will be equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera, with rumours about its coming with new selfie technology to enhance the experience of taking a selfie. The rear will use a triple camera setting, which is a 50MP+8MP+2MP. The smartphone might boast a 4500 mAh battery with 80W flash charging, and It is also equipped with an NPU chip MariSilicon X.
OPPO RENO8 PRO+ 5G(expected)
As Tweeted by Tipsters, Mukul Sharma and Abhishek Yadav revealed the few configurations of Reno 8 Pro 5G. The Pro+ model of the series is expected to support a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX processor. Oppo’s smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch Display that offers Full HD+ resolution and may come with a 120 Hz refresh rate like Reno 8, but we do not have any clear details.
The device will come in choices like 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It might come with a triple rear camera of 50 IMX766 megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel lens and 2-megapixel lens. Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G in India is expected to be from Rs.45,999 onwards as this is anticipated to be one of the flagship smartphones by the company.
In short, the OPPO Reno8 series is still worth looking forward to. As some of the features of the series are not known, we can expect some changes in it. I wonder if OPPO will have any hidden tricks; let’s wait and see!
