Galaxy Z Flip 4 Listed on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip’s design hasn’t changed significantly since it first launched – except for the cover display. There will be a couple of minor tweaks to the overall measurements, but otherwise, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will look similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 3.

The well-known “Ice universe,” in fact, shared on Twitter the scores collected by the smartphone on Geekbench and, consequently, all the details of its chip.

Samsung followed up its first Z Flip with the nearly identical Z Flip 5G just a few months later, so it’s already shown that it’s happy to update the internals of its foldable without changing their external appearance. On the outside, it still has a two-tone colour scheme with a pair of cameras and a small notification display, while inside, there’s still a 6.7-inch foldable display.

There is some chatter about it coming equipped with the most powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, which hasn’t been announced yet. As the phone listed on Geekbench shows, the smartphone has Android v12. If Samsung plans for its next Z Flip to be a spec bump, we hope that its specs get a decent boost. Expect an official announcement in August.

Surely, Samsung will have some surprises installed inside the phone for the consumers. We are impressed by the Z series last smartphone, so we have some confidence in its successor.
