Qualcomm Technologies launched its latest lineup of mobile platforms, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, on May 20, 2022, to power the next generation of premium android smartphones. The company’s newest flagship platform, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, is a premium-tier powerhouse delivering power and performance enhancements for ultimate boosts across all device experiences.
An improved Qualcomm Adreno GPU offers up to 10% faster speeds and 30% power reduction to deliver the ultimate gameplay experience. With the platform’s added power efficiencies, users can expect up to 60 extra minutes of gameplay. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 also features a Qualcomm Kyro CPU with up to 10% faster processing, and up to 30% improved power efficiency. The platform uses TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd.) 4nm technology.
The Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 powers incredible experiences over Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.3 and includes 8K HDR amazing video capture. The Snapdragon X65 5G Modem-RF system provides remarkable speed and efficiency so that users can talk up to 5 ½ hours longer. It supports a refresh rate of 60Hz in 4K and 144Hz in QHD+ and can bear up to a 200 MP camera. It has a high-performance storage interface UFS 3.1 and USB 3.1.
