OPPO officially confirmed the Reno 8 Pro will launch with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1

Oppo Reno 8 series launch event is set in China on May 23rd. The company is expected to launch three models under it, including Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro+. The Chinese smartphone brand officially confirmed that it would be launching its new Oppo Reno 8 Pro smartphone with the power of the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile processor.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SOC has four Cortex A710, which have been clocked at 2.36 GHz and four A510 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. It will be using a GPU from the last generation, the Adreno 662. The Mobile Platform takes the Snapdragon 7-Series into new gaming territory, and the 4th Gen Snapdragon X62 5G Modem-RF System offers blazing speeds of 4.4 Gbps over more networks.

Coming back to the Reno 8 Pro, the smartphone is also confirmed to offer an amazing camera experience. The same is also believed to offer a fast charging solution. The device has a 6.62 inch AMOLED display, including Full HD+ resolution 1080p and 120 Hz refresh rate. There is a single hole straight screen in the upper left corner, a pixel drill-like arrangement.

OPPO Reno8 will be equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera, with rumours about its coming with new selfie technology to enhance the experience of taking a selfie. The rear will use a triple camera setting, which is a 50MP+8MP+2MP. The smartphone might boast a 4500 mAh battery with 80W flash charging; it also has an NPU chip MariSilicon X.
