iQOO 10 Pro will use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Chip

Qualcomm’s unveiling of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset has caused an uproar of smartphone OEMs proudly announcing that they have secured the chipset for their next flagship devices. The gaming-focus brand iQOO has joined the queue by confirming its next flagship, iQOO 10 Pro, will feature the recently launched processor chip.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 offers 10% increase in GPU clock speeds and 30% GPU power reduction; its 18-bit ISP provides astonishing 8K HDR video capture. The Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 powers incredible experiences over Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.3, and the Snapdragon X65 5G Modem-RF system provides remarkable speed and efficiency. It supports a refresh rate of 60Hz in 4K and 144Hz in QHD+ and can bear up to a 200 MP camera.

iQOO 10 Pro will come with adequate specifications and will first launch in China. It is expected to come into the Indian market around Q3 2022. The iQOO 10 Pro 5G specifications are not confirmed yet and are based on unofficial leaks (Chinese market version).

The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.78 inches AMOLED display, a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone comes with a Li-Polymer 4700 mAh battery and is compatible with 120W Fast Charging. The brand has fixed a triple camera layout on the back of the phone consisting of 50 MP + 50 MP + 16 MP and a 16 MP selfie snapper.

A massive 8GB RAM and huge internal storage of 256GB is non-expandable. The brand has installed a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Chipset and 10% faster GPU inside that looks after the gaming requirements and graphical needs. It is a 5G enabled handset.
