The launch event for the Vivo T2 series, initially scheduled for May 23, will now reportedly be held on June 6TH in China. Besides the Vivo T2, another smartphone is named the Vivo T2x model in the lineup. This model will be a budget handset priced under ¥1,000 (INR11,532).
The news broke by Chinese blogger “Digital Chat Station” exposed configurations of the Vivo T2 series. The Vivo T2 will be equipped with a Qualcomm 870 SoC, 80W dual-core flash charging, 64MP OIS camera, 120Hz E4 AMOLED display, and an under-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Vivo T2x model will feature a 6.58 inches Full – HD+ LCD high refresh screen, 16MP front camera, rear dual-camera setup of 50MP+ 2MP, and a Dimensity 1300 processor. It is 9.21 mm thick and weighs 202.8g. The tipster added that the model would be powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery pack that supports 44W fast charging out of the box. Combining a Dimensity 1300 processor and 6000mAh battery is expected to bring about excellent battery life.
Vivo hasn’t confirmed the arrival of a phone called T2X, so we shall wait for the official announcements from the company.
