OnePlus Nord 2 Gets Stable Android 12 with OxygenOS 12.1 Update

Yesterday, OnePlus released OxygenOS 12.1 Open Beta 2 for Nord 2 5G users. Today the company has just released a new software update for its OnePlus Nord 2, the Chinese house’s most interesting mid-range. The update matches build C.04 and introduces some system optimization The major update consists of the stable build of OxygenOS 12.1, currently available for the Indian version and expected to arrive in Europe shortly.

The latest OxygenOS 12.1 update introduced with Android 12 largely concern the graphics interface of OxygenOS 12, which is now closer to OPPO’s ColorOS. However, new features have been introduced for the Always On options, the game mode and Shelf, which has acquired new cards and customizations. The update is currently being deployed via OTA for Indian users, expected to arrive in Europe soon as well.

The update weighs about 4.89GB, it will be available to those who have a stable version of OxygenOS. Those on the Open Beta channel will instead have to manually switch to the building resulting in the device reset.
