VIVO T2X Launch Earlier than Expected in China

Vivo T2X launched in China earlier than expected. The mid-range smartphone is to launch alongside the Vivo T2 on June 6th. However, the brand has quietly unveiled the Vivo T2X and T2 and announced their pricing details and specifications.

The series will succeed the Vivo T1 series. The handset has a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper, a rectangular camera module to house dual sensors, and an LED flash, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Display

The phone sports 6.58 inches 2408×1080 resolution LCD screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate display and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate. It packs a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC paired with LPDDR4X RAM 8 GB + 128 /256 GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. It supports HDR and NFC.

Camera

The Vivo T2x has dual cameras on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 16 MP snapper for selfies and video chats on the front. It is available in two colors, mirror black, and fog blue.

Battery

The phone also packs a beefy 6,000 mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging. The company claims that the phone can be charged from 0 to 50% in 35 minutes. There is also support for 6W wired reverse charging via the USB Type-C port.

The Vivo T2x boots custom skin OriginOS 2.0 based on Android 12 out of the box. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and dual SIM. The device weighs around 202.8 grams.
