The iQOO is a sub-brand under the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo. iQOO launched its Neo series in India for the first time, and iQOO hasn’t released Neo smartphones in India, as the company usually rebranded them in the iQOO Z series.
The iQOO Neo 6 5G is focused on an all-around flagship standard experience with high performance and gaming features. Neo 6 is equipped with a 36907mm2 cascade cooling system to keep the phone’s temperature under check while gaming.
The company’s latest addition to its Neo smartphone portfolio is equipped with a Snapdragon 870 SoC 5G processor. In April, the handset made its debut in China, with the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood.
It has a 6.62-inch E4 AMOLED (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1200Hz instant touch sampling rate, and 1300 nits peak brightness. The iQoo Neo 6 packs a 4,700mAh (typical) battery with 80W FlashCharge support.
The device runs on the FunTouchOS 12 version built over the Android 12 operating system; it has a triple rear camera of 64 MP OIS main camera + 8 MP (f/1.89 + f/2.2) ultrawide + 2 MP (f/2.4) macro camera and a 16MP resolution of the front camera.
Connectivity options on the handset include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 2.4G/5G, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, In-display fingerprint scanning, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
The Neo 6 price in India starts at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage model, while the high-end 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 33,999. It has 4D gaming vibration with an X-axis Linear motor, IR, and NFC. It is on sale in Cyber Rage and Dark Nova colour options and starting at 1 pm today on Amazon and its website.
