Samsung rolls out April 2022 Security Patch to the Galaxy A70s

Samsung Galaxy A70s comes out on board with Android 9.0 (Pie) and has received two major updates, Android 10 and Android 11.

The Galaxy A70s has got an update today with April 2022 security patch, and it launched in 2019 Sep, and this is a biannual security update. This update is for Indian variant A707F and can be identified with build number A707FDDS3CVD1 with a download size of 214.01 MB.

According to Changelog, there are no major improvements other than a security update patch.

It’s almost 4 years since its launch, and Samsung is still providing security updates. Samsung announced Galaxy products launched in 2019, including the Z, S, Note, A, XCover, and Tab series, and will receive at least four years of security updates, OS, and UI.

Samsung’s new foldables will come with One UI 4.1.1

It seems that it will not get Android 12.0 or One UI 4.0. If you are an A70S user, turn on auto-update or update notification in the Settings section of your device to receive the update.
