OnePlus Nord 2 getting June 2022 Security Update On OxygenOS 11

Last month, OnePlus released the stable Android 12 update with OxygenOS 12.1 for limited users. But now, the company has started rolling out another update for the device.

The latest update of the OnePlus Nord 2 comes based on OxygenOS 11, not OxygenOS 12. And the company says for people who may wonder why we’re releasing an update based on OxygenOS 11, OxygenOS 12 version is still in the process of a staged rollout. We’re releasing this build to provide a more stable user experience for those still on OxygenOS 11.

OnePlus Nord 2 latest update brings an Android June 2022 security patch, and the device becomes the first smartphone from the company to get this update.

The update is rolling out in India and Europe with version numbers DN2101_11_A.21 and DN2103_11_A.21, respectively. It’s worth noting that the OxygenOS 12 release for the OnePlus Nord 2 is on the May 2022 Android security patch level, and OnePlus hasn’t shared any info on updating the OxygenOS 12 build to the latest security patches.

OnePlus Nord 2 OxygenOS A.21 changelog:

  • System
    • [Updated] Android security patch to 2022.06

If you are using the OxygenOS 11 on Nord 2 so you can manually check for the update by heading over to Settings > System > System updates.
