Samsung has just released a new software update for its Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, its top-of-the-range smartphones from a couple of years ago. The update is centred on the photographic aspect.
The South Korean manufacturer announced the news of this update for the flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series and is distributing the latest June 2022 security patches for both models.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are receiving the firmware version N981WVLU2FVEB and N986WVLU2FVEB in Canada; the update described weighs as much as 1GB and is currently being deployed for Canadian users. We expect it to arrive internationally soon as well. After installing the update, the Night photographic performance should be higher, with improvements in-camera functions.

- Overall stability of your device has been improved.
- The security of your device has been improved.

When the update is available on your device, it will be notified through a notification. You will be able to download and install it via OTA (i.e., directly from the device). The most impatient can still manually check its availability, go to the Settings menu, scroll to the section dedicated to software updates, and start the check.
