Samsung Wallet: Digital keys, boarding and payment passes, and more in one app [Download]

After seven years of honourable career, Samsung Pay officially leaves the scene to make room for an old, indeed very old, acquaintance. The Seoul-based company anticipated its return a few days ago when it announced that Samsung Pass and Pay would merge into one reality, namely Wallet itself.

Samsung calls it a “new platform” and does so with knowledge of the facts because the Wallet of almost a decade ago, which was replaced by Pay, and the current one, which replaces Pay, have very little.

Samsung has unveiled Samsung Wallet, the new platform that will allow Galaxy users to have digital keys, boarding and payment passes, and more in one app, all with the protection afforded by the Korean giant’s security systems.

Finally, the Samsung Wallet app is available for download from the Galaxy Store in some selected markets: in addition, the application can be downloaded from France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, South Korea and the United States.

The new application can store various information and documents, such as boarding passes, credit cards and debit cards, digital keys (both for home and car), gift cards, health cards, login passwords, membership cards and cryptocurrency data.
