OPPO ColorOS 12 roadmap regarding July 2022
Chinese giant has officially announced the devices for which the release of the update that will bring the news of ColorOS 12-based on Android 12 is scheduled for July 2022.
OPPO announced the markets in which the update will be kicked off for each of the affected smartphones, and within a few days from each date, the update should also extend to other countries.
Android 12-based ColorOS 12 represents an important update, as it brings with it many improvements and features, such as a new theme system based on wallpapers (a solution similar to the one adopted by Google), the Material You design language, Screen Translate , Background Stream Canvas AOD, Android 12 Privacy Dashboard, camera and microphone access indicators, and much more.

- OPPO A16 (India) starting July 23, 2022
- OPPO A55s 5G (Japan) starting July 25, 2022
When the update is actually available, it can be downloaded and installed directly through the smartphone, which will inform the user with a specific notification.
