iQOO July 2022 Update
At this point in time, it’s not clear what all else iQOO owners should expect to find in the July 2022 update in terms of new features or changes. The current pool of iQOO smartphones with the very latest and greatest security update is quite small, but it is constantly expanding by device and region.

Warmly Tips:
- Limited by Android 8 and higher version, iQOO cannot flash the lower version (You can check the current version of your phone in Settings>My Device>More Parameters).
- Your data on your phone won`t be cleared. However, we also recommend you back up your important data such as contacts, messages before doing it. Moreover, make sure the battery capacity is sufficient(over 30%).
Process:
- Download the corresponding firmware for your phone;
- Move it to the root directory of your phone storage without decompressing;
Note: The root directory is basically the first thing you see when you open a file explorer on your phone. In other words, do not put the file in a folder. The files which you can find in Phone storage interface of File Manager locate the root directory.
Install the firmware:
- If you can enter your phone, click the firmware in File Manager>Local files to install it.
- If you cannot enter your phone:
- Press and hold Power button and Volume up button simultaneously until iQOO logo appears.
- Select Recovery Mode by pressing Volume down button and enter it by pressing Power button.
- Then tap Install software>Phone memory to enter the lock screen password, select the downloaded software package to install it.
- After the software installed successfully, click Reboot by pressing Power button to enter your phone.
