Realme Pad receiving a new software update with July 2022 security patch – No Android 12

Realme has started rolling out the July 2022 security update for the Realme Pad. This update boosts the system security by installing the latest security patch released as of July 2022. The update is available for both LTE ( 4G ) & WiFi variants.

The company confirmed that the latest update brings further bug fixes to enhance the security and stability of the device. It carries a firmware version RMP2102_11_A.08 for LTE and RMP2103_11_A.08 for the WiFi variant.

Apart from that, it doesn’t carry any major changes or updates with the new Security update. Though that’s not new as the device comes with this month’s patch. It also runs Android 11 with Realme UI Pad out of the box.

Android 12 Update for Realme Pad

According to the official, the Realme Pad’s first and last major OS update will be Android 12 with 3 years of the security patch. And it will be available in third quarter of 2022.

Realme Pad Features:

The Realme Pad has a 10.4-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels. The hardware platform is the eight-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor. The tablet comes with 32 or 64 GB of internal storage, but there is support for expanding storage using microSD cards. A 7100 mAh battery is responsible for its autonomy, which is enough for 12 hours of video viewing. There is support for fast charging with a power of 18 watts. All this is in a case with a thickness of only 6.9 mm and a weight of 440 grams.
