T-Mobile Galaxy S21 Gets July 2022 Security Update

Samsung has already released the Android July 2022 security patch for Galaxy S21 series carrier-unlocked users in the US; however, the update is available widely.

Now the company is rolling out the July 2022 security patch for Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra on the T-Mobile network in the USA. In addition, it carries UI versions – G991USQU5CVG4, G996USQU5CVG4, and G998USQU5CVG4, respectively. 

According to the changelog, stability improvement and increased security and privacy in the smartphone. And also the protection against vulnerabilities and bugs. The latest security patch also includes an overall improvement of the system to make it more awesome in usage for the users in the USA.

With the latest July 2022 security patch, 41 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures were addressed. They concern aspects like Samsung Finder, Wearable Manager Installer, Contacts storage, the Messages app, Knoxguard lock, and more. You can find the complete list of fixes here.

Samsung security index (SSI), found in “Security software version”, SMR Jul-2022 Release 1, includes all patches from Samsung and Google. Some of the SVE items may not be included in this package in case these items were already included in a previous maintenance release.
