Galaxy F42 5G gets One UI 4.1 Core with Android 12 in India

Good news is coming for the Galaxy F42 5G, one of the mid-range smartphones launched by Samsung on the Indian market. The device has started receiving the Android 12 update.

The update is based on Android 12 and One UI 4.1 core, among the latest versions of Samsung’s interface ever. In addition to the new features of Android 12, the changelog mentions the introduction of Nearby Share feature and support for AVIF images. The update lists security patches updated in July 2022.

The update for the Galaxy F42 5G is currently being distributed via OTA in the India, but we expect the rollout to be expanded globally shortly.
