BGMI Unban Status: All Official News And Statements [16th Aug]

As you know, Battle Ground Mobile Indian was a ban in India a few days ago. And that is very bad news for the Indian gaming community. The Indian government has blocked Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), which had over 100 million users in India. Following the order, this game was removed from the Apple App store and Google play store. Although there is no official government statement on the BGMI ban yet.

BGMI developer Krafton is continuing to try to unban this game; here, we are covering all the official and unofficial news and statement related to unbanning the BGMI game in India.

16th August 2022

Shiva Nandy, Founder and CEO of Sky eSports, said, “regarding BGMI, Krafton is putting so much effort to bring back the game. Everyone should appreciate the publisher as I don’t think any other publisher would care for the community at this level. 100% the game will be back. Believe in the process. The certain thing I can’t share here, but I well do when it’s needed with the authentic update.”

As reported by Economic Times, Krafton has addressed the recent BGMI ban in the company’s quarterly earnings call. Krafton CFO Bae Dong-Geun said We will closely cooperate with the authorities to find ways for the users in India to keep enjoying BGMI.
