New leaks reveal OnePlus developing a new 1.5K flexible screen phone

In the middle of the month, Xiaomi launched its latest Redmi K50 Extreme Edition with a 1.5K OLED straight screen. The rumors revealed that some other smartphone brand is developing a 1.5K flexible screen smartphone during this.

According to the Weibo blogger @DigitalChatStation post, the post reveals that OPPO Oneplus will also launch a 1.5K flexible display phone. As per the information, the flexible screen supports high-frequency dimming. Also, the new screen will likely protect the eye from unwanted light. Moreover, the blogger also mentioned that the upcoming Realme’s new smartphone will support 2160 Hz PWM. In addition, the 1.5K high-frequency dimming flexible screen is mainly used in sub-flagship and mid-to-high models.

Also, Lu Weibing claims that the Redmi K50 1.5K screen can adopt the power consumption near the 1080P screen. Its pixel density is 446PPi, the first 12-bit screen of Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi, which supports up to 68.7 billion colors, 1920 Hz PWM, and low blue hardware level. Also, this phone adopts SGS low vision Fatigue certification.
