OxygenOS 12.1 Dark Mode comes with three new customization functions to personalize the OnePlus device. These three new functions include Gentle, Medium, and Enhanced mode in Dark mode settings, which are transferred from the ColorOS 12.

- Auto switch: Dark mode turns on at sunset and turns off at sunrise, and it turns on and off based on the schedule you customize.
- Adaptive contrast: This feature automatically adjusts the screen colour contrast according to the ambient light conditions.
