ColorOS 13: AOD Customization Feature Explained

OPPO has enhanced so many things in its UI and made its UI an attractive and helpful UI. One of the features of latest ColorOS 13 is Always on Display(AOD); everybody used this feature, but not with this type of enhancement feature. 

In Android 13, based on ColorOS 13, AOD Ability is increased and brought a few new features. As you know, AOD plays a vital role in all aspects like saving battery, showing you the date and time, and giving you notifications while your phone is locked. 

ColorOS 13: Always on Display [AOD]

This time it will do a little bit more; with the AOD customization feature, you can customize and add many features. It allows you to control your source of entertainment. Spotify support allows you to control the song’s play/pause, next/ recent and more. For Indian food lovers, an India-centric feature is added that can make India users, i.e., users can see the Zomato and Swiggy order status like Order accepted, Order picked up, location of the rider in a single line map on AOD and Delivered.

Interestingly you can do all these above things without waking up full screen or unlocking the screen of your phone. Bitmoji in the AOD is added, which makes your AOD display attractive and entertaining. Including all this, there are other types of animations are like like it shows the temperature.

Blossom Wallpaper

Insight Always-On Display Blossom wallpaper was added, which helps you to keep an eye on the usage, and it visualizes the growth of a plant on the wallpaper that indicates how much time you have spent on your phone staring at or using it. 

This Blossom Wallpaper is very useful in controlling yourself by using your smartphone continuously at times, and you can make yourself realize that you are using your phone so much. The Blossom plant will change color if you exceed the maximum limit that you have set. From any given color to grey color as it got soaked.

How to enable always on display in OPPO devices:

  • Open the Settings app on your OPPO phone.
  • Select Wallpapers & style.
  • Find the Always-on display option and select it.
  • Toggle the switch to enable the feature.
