Samsung unveiled the first version of the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for some eligible Galaxy devices earlier last month. The significant software update comes with a lot of new features and improvements as well as some bugs. 

Samsung One UI 5.0 Beta 1 preview comes with only five toggles in Quick settings in the Notification panel; well, the second One UI 5.0 Beta update brings back the 6 Quick settings layout.

Recently, the company released the second One UI 5.0 beta update for Galaxy S22 owners in the US, Germany, South Korea, India, the UK, and Poland. This update finally brings back the six toggles in the Quick settings layout. We can assume that the earlier changes in Quick Settings happened due to the bug, which is now fixed with Beta 2. Moreover, the South Korean tech giant has modified the Quick Settings with One UI 5.0 update with the incoming notification like Pixel devices. Furthermore, Samsung has introduced the Active apps feature in Quick settings. In the header section, the user interface brings four different menus, one of them the three dots menu; inside the three dots menu, One UI 5.0 brings a new section called Active apps.

One UI 5.0 Active apps feature shows users’ apps that are running in the background and close them if not in use. This feature will increase the battery life of the device, along with providing you a improved performance.
