Realme 9 Pro gets August 2022 security update with support of Jio 5G

Realme 9 Pro 5G comes preloaded with Realme UI 3.0 firmware based on Android 12. And the company will give 2 major Android OS updates and 3 years of security maintenance for the device. But there is no confirmation by Realme.

Realme is rolling out another software update for the device and comes with a new feature and an August 2022 security patch available in the previous build.

The update carries build number RMX3471_11_A.44 and added 5G network function supported for Jio in India.

After the Realme 9 Pro+, the company is rolling out the Android August 2022 security patch for Realme 9 Pro 5G in India, the changelog mentioned only security patch and system optimizes as well as fixes. The update can identify by build number RMX3471_11_A.43. This is a phased roll out and will be available to all the users very soon. Kindly be patient and wait for the update on your device.

Realme hasn’t mentioned the size of these updates, however, it is recommended to update your smartphones using a strong Wi-Fi connection and while the device is charging. To manually check for the update, head to Settings > System > System updates.
