A post on X formally Twitter shared by @OnePlus, which is the official handle of the brand, reveals that the forthcoming OnePlus Open will debut on October 19, 2023.

The launch event of the OnePlus Open will take the floor in Mumbai at 7:30 PM IST. The teaser image indicates that the device will have a thin design, a three-stage alert slider, and a book-style form factor.
Apart from the launch details, the company, on its community forum, also mentioned that the OnePlus Open is a high point of flagship foldable technology, and it is the lightest and most durable foldable phone. OnePlus also revealed that the device has an epic camera system.
OnePlus Open Expected Specifications
For now, the company has only revealed the launch date of the OnePlus Open foldable, and the specification is yet to be revealed officially. Based on the expectations, it is expected that the Open will feature a 6.31-inch AMOLED display along with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 2484 x 1116 pixel resolution. The other is a 7.82 inch AMOLED display, 2268 x 2440 pixel resolution.
The expectations regarding the processor are indicating that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with Adreno 740 GPU. The memory package will include 12GB & 16GB RAM and 256GB, 512GB & 1TB storage. The device will be based on Android 13 with OxygenOS 13.2 out of the box. The camera management will include a 48 MP primary camera, 48 MP ultrawide + 64MP telephoto + 3X optical zoom, and LED flash. Whereas the front camera will be 32MP/20MP. And the battery package will be of 4805mAh with the support of 100W charging.
