Samsung’s One UI 5.0 Beta Fifth Available For Galaxy S22 Devices

Samsung started the One UI 5.0 Beta update testing for Galaxy S22 series at the beginning of August. Recently, the South Korean tech giant has started rolling out the fifth beta of the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy S22, S22+, and the S22 Ultra smartphones in China. 

The One UI 5.0 Beta 5 can be identified via the PDA release version ending ZVJA for Galaxy S22 series, and users have to install this latest beta update around 471.16 MB. This fifth One UI 5.0 beta could be the last One UI 5.0 beta update for the Galaxy S22 phone, and after that, the company will start a public release. Samsung said that the Stable One UI 5.0 update would roll out later this month. 

One UI 5.0 Beta 5 Fixes:

Samsung One UI 5.0 Beta 5 update comes with several bug fixes, including issues of forces the closing of the Watch Plugin app, camera autofocus failure, Poor image quality, restart issues, no unlock sound, incomplete wallpaper display, “Close All” not displayed in the multitasking list interface, and more.

Bixby Text Call Feature Remove:

Last week, Samsung announced the Bixby Text Call feature that allows users to convert voice on the call to text, and users can then type the text as a reply to the caller.   • Fixed the issue of forced closing of the watch plugin
  • Fixed the problem of camera autofocus failure and poor image quality when using focus
  • Fixed phone restart issue
  • Fixed an issue where fingerprints could not be added
  • Fixed the problem of no unlock sound
  • Fixed the problem of incomplete wallpaper display
  • Fixed the problem that “Close All” is not displayed in the multitasking list interface
  • Fixed the issue that the app was forced to close when editing pictures
  • Removed Bixby text call

How To Update:

If you are already participating in the Galaxy S22 One UI 5.0 beta program in China, go to the device’s Settings. From here, scroll down and tap on the Software Update option; then you will see Download and Install and click on it. Wait for a while for the update to appear on the screen, and finally, tap on the download button to start the downloading process.
