Recently, OnePlus revealed the OxygenOS 13 feature, and it created excitement among the Oneplus users. Since then users have started waiting for OxygenOS 13 and but sadly, all OnePlus smartphones will not get the OxygenOS 13 and OnePlus 7 series users one of them. Some users have to upgrade their phones to new variants, for experiencing the latest update after the release.

Why devices will not receive the OxygenOS 13 update?
The biggest barrier which is coming ahead for not receiving the update is the OnePlus updating policy. According to the new update policy, now the OnePlus device will get 3 major Android and 4 years of security updates.
But there are some devices like the OnePlus 7 series and the 7T series, which are released before this new policy announcement. The old OnePlus update policy was 2 years of major OS Updates and 3 years of security updates. But later on, OnePlus confirmed that both series devices 7 series and 7T series will also be eligible for 3 years of major updates and 4 years of security updates.
