Last week, OPPO released the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 Beta update for OPPO Reno 8, Reno 7 Z 5G, A76, and A96, and also invited Reno 7 users for a Beta update in Indonesia. Now, the Chinese tech giant has started expanding this update for Reno7 5G, Reno7 Pro 5G, and Reno6 5G smartphone users in India.
Now, the ColorOS 13 beta program for the Reno7 series and Reno6 smartphone is available for a limited number of 5,000 users of each device in India; other regions are expected to release soon in the coming days. According to the OPPO community page, the application for ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 beta for the above devices is open from today (26 October 2022) to 28 October 2022 for Reno 7 Pro 5G, and 2 November 2022 for Reno 7 5G and Reno 6 5G and can be accepted in batches.
How To Update:
First, upgrade to the official version before registering for the ColorOS 13 beta version for the following version numbers for devices.
- OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G: C13
- OPPO Reno7 5G: C.25
- Oppo Reno6 5G: C.34
Now, go to the device’s Settings, scroll down and click on the About phone, tap on the Official version, then click on the three dots icon on the top right and click on the Trial version and fill in your information and Apply now. Note:
- After successful application, within three working days, you will receive the beta version, subject to availability.
- The ColorOS 13 Beta version will come with some bugs, and some apps may not work properly, as well as some issues with your device overheating, lagging and fast battery draining. Therefore, we recommend that you do not install the beta version on your primary phone.
