According to Intel, the newly announced Intel Core 14th Gen HX-series mobile processors are especially designed for creators, gamers, and business professionals who need both the convenience of taking them anywhere and great computing power-packed performance like a laptop.

Especially developed for a high-performing gaming experience, the newest Intel Core i9-14900HX is the complete show-stopper of the CES 2024 event. Its interesting 24 cores can offer up to 5.8GHz of speed capacity, and not only that, it can seamlessly support up to 192GB of DDR5-5600 memory, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth v5.4 connectivity as well.

The new Intel 14th Gen HX processor family sports another Intel Core i7 chip, which has been upgraded by the firm, and now the new Core i7-14700HX comes with a total of 20 cores, which will significantly deliver an enhanced performance experience for multi-thread applications and gameplay.

Intel Core 14th Gen Desktop Processors:

As far as the desktops are concerned, Intel has introduced the 18 new 14th Gen Intel Core processors, which include the higher flagship Intel Core variant, the Core i9-14900, which comes with 24 cores and has two significant power levels, including one at 65 watts and the second at 35 watts, respectively. While the turbo frequency of both processors can reach up to 5.8 GHz, the processors can deliver up to 7% better Microsoft Office performance and can easily unleash their power in order to offer quick multi-thread performance up to 37%. On the flip side, there is the slightly lower Intel Core variant, the Core i7-14700, which has 20 cores.

At the same time, these desktop processors are equipped with up to 10 cores, up to 5.4GHz turbo frequency, up to 96GB of DDR5/DDR4 memory support, Thunderbolt 4 support, Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi connectivity, PCIe Gen 4.0, PCIe Gen 3.0 for the SSD storage support, and more, while the devices that are powered with Intel Core U Series 1 processors could arrive in the first quarter of 2024.

Intel has taken a revolutionary step towards designing its next power-packed and high-performance mobile and desktop CPU processors. It’s noteworthy that the company hasn’t yet compared the newest Intel Core 14th Gen HX series processor family with its previous 13th Gen chips, but these processors still offer some of the same next-level features and performance, including advanced connectivity options and more.
