Samsung introduced some new features and improvements for Galaxy Note 10 5G and Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G smartphone users by implementing a new software update, which mainly installs the October 2022 Android security update for better device security. This update is currently rolled out in South Korea, and more regions are expected to roll out soon in the coming days.
To recall, the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus are not eligible for the latest One UI 5.0 based on the Android 13 update, but the South Korean tech giant hasn’t stopped rolling out the latest features for users. According to the Changelog, this update has introduced a new messaging function that allows users to send and receive multiple images, and you can view them at once. Plus, you can pin a message as a notice in a group chat.
Besides the Message features, the update also brings new camera features, which enhance the Area Guide Size and Recognition Speed when scanning a QR code from the Quick Panel. Also, the result of the QR code recognition and document recognition are displayed at the same time in the camera app photo mode.
Apart from the new features, this update applied the security-related stabilization code and fixed some bugs and issues that are related to the system’s security and reliability. Moreover, it enhances the system stability by reducing the system lagging, freezing, crashing, and loading. For more info, you can check the full changelog below.
