The new Gemini AI 1.0 Ultra integration to deploy in Oppo and OnePlus devices

Now, all the companies in the smartphone industry are gradually moving towards a new technology. In this technology, attention is being given to hardware as well as software so that a new environment can be created. Oppo and OnePlus, the two most powerful smartphone manufacturers, have joined hands for this technology.

This will involve developing and including the AI model Gemini 1.0 Ultra in these devices. Earlier, Google also integrated its AI technology directly into the devices and broadcast it directly to the mobile, which started a new era in their devices. Meanwhile, Google announced Cloud Next ‘24, which is scheduled to be released later this year.

Nicole Zhang, general manager of AI products at Oppo and OnePlus, confirmed that AI requires four key resources – efficient resource utilization, self-learning capabilities, real-world perception and the user’s ability to be creative. In this way, it proves to be helpful to the user. With the help of this new technology, many tasks will become easier.

The company will be rolling out this feature gradually, at which time we will first get to see the AI eraser feature powered by AndisGPT LLM. This feature helps the user remove unwanted objects from images directly from their photo gallery. This feature automatically generates replacement backgrounds, ensuring users get flawless, picture-perfect results.

Moreover, this AI Eraser was rolled out this month for multiple devices, including OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 11, OnePlus Open and OnePlus Nord CE 4. It also has the likes of Oppo and OnePlus ready to hand in with Google to integrate various Cloud AI products into their upcoming devices.

In the future, Oppo and OnePlus devices will be equipped with AI for tasks like summarizing news articles and audio, creating social media content in many apps, and more. It remains to be seen how long this feature will be implemented in the device.
