Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Gets October 2022 Update With System Improvements

In 2020, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 series with Android 10-based One UI 2.5 OS along with a lot of great features. Also, it is expected from the company that the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will get their third and final major upgrade, Android 13-based One UI 5.0, later this year or early 2023. 

In a recent development, Samsung has started expanding the October 2022 Android security patch for Galaxy Note 20 series in India. This update comes with system performance by installing the monthly security patch.

As per the information, users of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra can identify the October 2022 update with the One UI build number N981BXXS5FVI5 and N986BXXS5FVI5, respectively. If you have any of the Galaxy Note 20 series devices (Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra), then you can easily download the October 2022 update with a 192.59 MB package size.

The October patch addresses 50 threats and vulnerabilities related to users’ privacy. These fixes include 18 of Samsung’s CVEs that affect various device components, apps, and services and 32 Google Android OS issues.

According to the changelog, this latest update aims to improve the system’s security and stability to deliver a seamless performance by reducing general system issues like crashing, lagging, freezing, and others. Moreover, it fixes a few security and privacy-related bugs and issues that influence the user’s experience.
