Samsung Internet Browser Latest Update Adds New Features – v19.0.1.2 [Download Now]

Samsung’s frequent support for its hardware and software products is nothing short of timely, and the South Korean giant has given a new update to its built-in internet application. The Samsung Internet 19 version is now available for download in several regions and comes with some new features and further improvements.

The new update can be identified by its version number 19.0.1.2 is currently available for Samsung Galaxy users, but it will soon be available for other Android users.

Samsung Internet Browser’s latest update improves its security and privacy functions and introduces new features. According to the changelog, a new feature called “privacy info” is accessible on every website just by clicking the lock icon in the URL bar. You can also view recent history with the improved widgets on the app. Add-ons are now available when using Samsung Internet in Secret mode.

Samsung has also made a few changes and additions to provide extra protection for privacy and security, including Smart Anti-Tracking, which helps to identify domains that use cross-site tracking and to block cookies. Cross-platform bookmark synchronisation with Google Chrome is not mentioned in Samsung’s official changelog for version 19.0.1.2. The beta still seems to include this feature, but it’s not clear if Samsung only included it there and left it out of the general release.
