Find Out When Windows 10 Will Remove Internet Explorer

As you already know, Internet Explorer was discontinued from June in this year, and Microsoft has introduced a new browser Microsoft Edge for users. According to Microsoft’s recent news article, the company is planning to remove Internet Explorer entirely from Windows 10. 

This will be gradually done in various stages via security patch updates; as of now, at so many places in Windows 10, Internet Explorer icons or names and other types of relatable noticed, where in some cases, in the taskbar internet explorer appear but when we open surprisingly, Microsoft Edge comes out. 

All these things will be entirely removed in the upcoming security patch update of Windows 10. 

However, Microsoft has already released a plan to remove everything from Windows 10. This process will start in February 2023, when Windows 11 will receive the security patch update. According to sources, updates are scheduled for February 14, 2023. The preview build update will start on January 17. 

In the update, icons of Internet Explorer from the taskbar and from other places like files or shortcuts will be deleted. 

Besides this, Google has also announced Google Chrome’s end of support for Windows 7. Which will also end with the new Chrome 110 update in February 2023.
