After the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, the South Korean tech giant has finally started to roll out the stable One UI 5.0 software update for the Galaxy S21 series smartphone users. This update comes with lots of new features and improvements over the Android 12 operating system.

Initially, the company released the major Android 13-based update for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra mobile phones in certain European countries (Germany), and more countries are likely to roll out soon in the coming days. 

Furthermore, you can identify the One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra by firmware version numbers G991BXXU5DVJC, G996BXXU5DVJC, and G998BXXU5DVJC respectively. 

One UI 5.0 update introduced interesting new features and improvements to deliver a safer, more compatible, more stylish, and easier UI for Galaxy devices. The update comes with Android’s 13 color palette, with theme icons applied to stock Samsung apps as well as some Google and third-party apps.

In addition, One UI 5.0 update comes with many new improvements, including new widgets, new lock screen customization functions, refreshed UI design, stack widget, app edge panel, lockdown mode, medical information, added new emoji, spoken assistant, RAM Plus and many more.

How To Update:

Firstly, go to your phone’s Settings, then scroll down and tap on the Software Update section. Here, click on the Download and install option. Now a new software update should appear on your screen that clearly mentions the One UI 5.0 (Android 13) update. Hit the download button to get it.
