Google Pixel 4 Series Will No Longer Receive The Software Update

Google launched the Pixel 4 smartphone in October 2019. The phone features a 5.7-inch display with 1080×2280 pixels resolution, Snapdragon 855 processor, a 16MP dual camera, a 2800mAh battery with fast charging, and more.

According to the information, the Pixel 4 series has been launched out of the box with the Android 10 operating system. Plus, the company also offers a three-year software update cycle. In August 2022, Pixel 4 series devices got the latest Android 13 update, so this is the last major Android update for this device.

Meanwhile, Google has recently released the November 2022 Android security update for its Pixel devices. This update not only comes with functional improvements But, at the same time, fixes other system-related issues like battery, charging, display, graphics and more.

However, the Pixel 4 series is not included in the monthly update list, which means that the 2019 flagship series will not receive the monthly update form from now on. 

Now, the Pixel 4 series is the next smartphone in the Pixel family that will reach the end of its life. It means that it will not receive new firmware updates such as security updates, system performance updates, and the latest version of the Android operating system.

Google Hangouts App Discontinued:

On the other hand, Google officially discontinued the Hangouts app on November 1 2022, on the web. Meanwhile, the company also announced that you could save and transfer the Hangouts app conversation and history on the Google Chat application, and it will continue to be available until January 1, 2023.
