Breaking: One UI 3.1 comes to the Galaxy Tab S6 with March 2021 patch

Samsung has started rolling out the latest One UI 3.1 skin firmware update for the Galaxy Tab S6, though for the time being it might be limited to the Galaxy Tab S6 LTE (SM-T865). The Galaxy Tab S6, which was introduced in 2019. So far. Currently, the update is rolling out in Europe.

As compare to One UI 3.0, One UI 3.1 improves many of the features and enhancements that were introduced with One UI 3.0. Samsung has made quite a few user interface changes in addition to new features that make One UI 3.1 one of the best iterations of its custom skin yet. In short One UI 3.1 brings support for the neat smart home controls that can be found on the Pixel’s lock screen.

The update weighs about 2.2GB, it includes the March 2021 security patch, and Galaxy Tab S6 LTE owners in Germany can identify it by firmware version T865XXU4CUB7.

Samsung is almost two months ahead of its own schedule with this update. The release of Android 11 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 was not scheduled until May. Accordingly, this could mean that the WiFi version has to wait even longer than is now the case with the LTE version.
