The OnePlus 7T lineup is one of the most popular smartphones in the market. In the last quarter of 2019, the Chinese tech manufacturer launched its flagship devices, the OnePlus 7T, along with the OnePlus 7T Pro. Both phones were introduced with OxygenOS 10 on top of the Android 10 operating system.
Talking about the software update, the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro are more than three years older phones. As of now, both devices are currently running on the Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1 update. After the launch, both the phones received two major Android updates over the year, including Android 11 and Android 12.
Meanwhile, we can expect that the OnePlus 7T series smartphone could receive the third and last major update, the OxygenOS 13, on top of Android 13. For reference, the OnePlus 7 series was unveiled with the Android 9 (Pie) operating system. It currently runs on Android 12 based on OxygenOS 12. Over the years, the smartphone received three major Android updates – Android 10, Android 11, and Android 12.
Although OnePlus has not given any official information about the Android 13 update for the OnePlus 7T. But as per the update cycle of the OnePlus 7, it could get the last major update.
