These Realme Smartphones Won’t Be Getting Software Updates Anymore After Android 13

February 2023 started, and the company will soon start rolling out the February 2023 update for its eligible smartphones. As of now, Company is releasing the January 2023 update for various devices.

As per the timeline released a few months ago for 2022-23. Realme has already shipped the stable Android 13 update to some of its eligible smartphones, including the Realme GT2 Pro, Realme GT Neo series, Realme 9 Pro Series, Realme Narzo Series and more. Meanwhile, other eligible smartphone users will soon receive the latest update in the coming months.

Few weeks ago, we have informed you that, OnePlus and OPPO extended the software support policy from ‘Three year to Four years major OS update and Four year to Five years security update.’ So it is expected that, Realme may also extends its software update policy in future.

Well, here in this article, we are sharing the list of devices that will be getting their last major Android 13 update. The update brings a lot of new features and improvements to the UI and more. After receiving the Android 13 update, the following devices lose major software support but will continue to receive monthly security updates for the next year.

Realme Update Policy:

Beginning of the year 2022, with the launch of Realme GT 2 Pro, Realme made an amendment to change its update policy for devices from 2 years of major software updates to a promise of 3 years of major software updates and four years of monthly security updates for its GT Neo series and flagship devices. 

On the other hand, the company will continue to deliver two years of major software updates and three years of monthly security updates for its mid-range smartphone and one year of major software updates and two years of monthly security updates for its entry-level device.
