Nothing Phone (1) Android 13-based Nothing OS 2.0 Beta Internal Testing Starts

The Chinese tech maker held an event in July 2022. At the same event, the co-founder of OnePlus announced the launch of his first phone, the Nothing Phone (1), which was introduced with NothingOS 1.0 based on Android 12. Now, here’s good news for the Nothing Phone (1) owners, they can enjoy the Android 13 version in India.

Yesterday, Mr. Carl Pei, Founder of Nothing announced the news on Twitter – “First builds of Android 13 working much better than expected”. This means that the company is silently opening the beta program of the Android 13 update for Nothing Phone (1).

Earlier, we shared information about the Nothing Phone (1) Android 13 update, that the beta update is expected to launch later this year. Now, the company has started rolling out the Android 13-based NothingOS 2.0 update for its first smartphone.

Meanwhile, we expect the Android 13-based Nothing OS 2.0 stable version to be released in 2023. However, the Chinese tech giant has not confirmed the specific release date or duration of the Android 13 update yet.

If you want to download this latest NothingOS 2.0 Beta update on your Nothing Phone (1), go to the device’s Settings. From here, scroll down and tap on the System, and then check on the Software update.

The Nothing 2.0 Beta update comes with lots of Android 13 new stuff, which includes  multilingual app language preferences, New media controls, More Material You color options, new Photo Picker feature, and more.
